Can anyone explain what the Zone Duty Captain for Patrol is vs Duty Captain for Patrol and the rules? A captain who just got promoted told me she is the Zone duty captain for the tour not to be confused with the normal duty captain. Anyone have this in their boro?

Is there any official text where you can see what CCRB stops you from? example a pending CCRB can skip you on promotion, correct? what else can it stop? Does it stop a transfer? mixed answers from all over the place. Looking for the Book answer. thanks

Curious what you guys think with the new proposed almost 20% raise for LT. Will have them making almost 200k without ot. Obviously captain will get bump too but I wonder how many LT turn down promotion with that raise to avoid the rank headaches.

So the CEA only covers up to 1 star chief, meaning you get no union protection past that hence why some chiefs get forced out. But what about the other stuff that comes with a union? Dental, vision, etc? Does the city provide that for them or are they on their own for that?

Meaning you have to be at the top LSA pay scale 149k to go to the top pay captain. Meaning you hit your three year anni as LSA/LCD and you go right to top pay captain you dont have to finish that...
