i heard a rumor on this site...that the 08 list of 640 or so mite get cut...also heard on this site..a rumor that the 09 list may come out around sept...also on this site that a 2010 sgt list also may come out... just got a letter in the mail directing me to 1 Centre street. Letter says to bring assorted paperwork to establish my veterans preference, and to fill out some questionaire. I guess this is a sign the list is close to being finished although i did get a 96 so maybe they are just starting lol ? ..... any vet...

When the list is established you can contact DCAS @ 212-669-1357, enter you ss# and exam 8564. They will tell you your list number. WHEN THE LIST IS ESTABLISHED. Good luck to all. Last year I failed by 2, this year passed by 2. WooHoo!

About a little more than %10 of the people who took the test passed. Which means about 600-700 people passed the test because 6000 people took it. I cannot say where this came from for obvious reasons but believe me it is extrememly reliable and will be the outcome when the list is published. Now be aware...

There is a thread on the 08 exam saying we had to mail in the signature in order to get our scores published (if not sent you will not get promoted)???I don't recall such instructions....anyone else hear anything...
