Why are they waiting this long to establish a final key? The protest period ended almost two months ago and I'm sure they have already decided how many questions are getting thrown out or if any are becoming "double answers"! This truly shows how messed up and uncaring this city is- the test for Correctons officers received its final key already and that exam was the same day as the SGT's exam!
The promotional exams are left waiting for their final key. The most recent promotional exam to have its key finalized was the "Associate Sanitation Enforcement Agent (Prom)" exam and that was given on 12/20/08, and that protest period ended on 2/20/09. The last real supervisory promotional exam to get its key finalized was the "BATTALION CHIEF (FIRE) (PROM)" and that exam was on 08/16/08, and the protest period ended on 10/17/08. Judging from all that, I hate to say it, but we "69ers" may have about 6 more months of waiting until the key is finalized!
If the 2008 test is any indication, and as another FORUM'r reminded about the 2009 test announcement came before the 2008 list was made public. If history is to repeat itself, and it usually does. The list will be out after the 2010 test is officially announced. The city, and the various PG schools make a killing on this practice. The numbers are somewhere like %10 of the people who sign up for the test actually get a passing grade. This is probably why the curve wont return.
