As an idea if we can get people to post the number of people who PASSED=70 and greater RAW SCORE in each of their commands, we might be able to get an estimate of how many people would be on the list. I know people might be apprehensive about posting the numbers where they work so PM me and I'll try to start a passing list and if you know people in other commands find out from them.....
ARE YOU SERIOUS ? THAT MIGHT BE GOING A LITTLE BIT TO FAR BUDDY. ARE U GOING TO ASK ABOUT MEDALS AND SENIORITY FOR EACH PERSON SO WE CAN ESTABLISH OUR OWN LIST AS WELL ?
you are going to drive yourself nuts thinking about it. There are so many different things to factor in with the list. Perfect example, I got a 75 and have over 10 years which is 6.7 points approx, plus 2.5 for veterans credit and another point im medals so I will end up with around an 85. Now someone with a 84 with less than five years and no medals or military will be behind me so everyone will have a different situation, either amount of seniority or military plus medals and of coarse raw score will make the final determination. Someone may start at number 200 and then find out they have been bumped to 300 in the blink of an eye. You will only know when the official list comes out.
I think what 3yrWonder suggests is a good idea. If we know how many people score @ least a 70 from every commamd, that will give us a rough idea how many people will be on the list. As we know DCAS will take probably a good 4 to 6 months to come out with a list. Just like we did for the answer key we can do the same for the list. And by the way we don't have to factor seniority, medals etc... all we need to know is how many people get @ least a 70. After spending so many months studying it's hard to keep waiting and waiting. let's give it a shot.

You should save your veterans credit for the next LT test You are going to get promoted regardless without using them with your score . Once you use it on a promotional exam or even the P.O. entrance exam you cant use it again. Good luck
I'm not factoring any points I just want to know the number of people who PASSSED 70 and above in each command just to get a round about figure if it's anything like the protest session I went to today only like 25 people showed up which could mean either a lot of people passed or a lot of people didn't give a crap
So far i only heard of 5 passing out of about 30 im my command. Heard rumor from a LT. that the number was around 400. In years past, I heard of a lot more taking the test. Even the in-basket classes and weekly classes at the Key were half empty the second half of the coarse. A lot of people lost their enthusiasm after we settled our contracts and think about it, how many people even really look at this site, its not nearly as many as you think. Also, most likley 80% of the people who did pass got in the seventies like myself. If you have any seniority or other points to add in you will be fine. One last thing, this test was like all other tests, maybe a little harder, maybe a little easier, the number will be around the same number as the last several tests. Any where from 375 to 575, either way its not as many as you may think. Plus there are always people who get passed up on the list because not enough time, not enough college, jammed up or whatever the case may be. Dont sweat it, you will get there if you passed.
MCD, pm me your command I'll add it to the list along with others....I'm sure people on here know people in other commands, try to inquire from them the number who passed, I'll be doing the same.
APPROX 2700 PEOPLE PASSED. YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST. WITH THE BUDGET WOES, THE CITY DUMBED DOWN THE TEST SO THEY WOULDN'T HAVE TO ADMINISTER ANOTHER ONE FOR FOUR YEARS

IMO more people passed than usual BUT its not because the dumbed down the test but simply because Sgt's have a beter contract now. Now its more appealing
brooklynbacon, there are people who take the test because they are unhappy where they are. If we get a number on how many passed then those people as well as people who just want to know, will have a round about figure on how long before they get out of where they're at, almost like a light at the end of the tunnel, it's a mental thing. I myself like where I'm at but want to know how long before I have to never write a summons again as well as other things. That is the purpose. So, if you like, PM me, and I'll add your commands numbers to the list.
Actually, I heard almost 5,000 passed. Why is it after every exam, the people who passed the previous one feel the need to put down the current test? Oh!! I know... these are the same jerkoffs that wear the mile high rack w/ BS collars, you know the guy that inserts themself into every war story like they were there "back in the day". Let it go. Don't listen to these morons!!!
and if people think they dumbed down the test no way 2007 was a very hard test...2008 was way easier then this test and i didnt study and i just barely failed. 2009 was tricky you had to really look at it before you can get the answer down pack. to me 2008 test was more straight forward then this one
rising idiot...what the hell are you talkin about they dumbed the test down so they dont have to give another one next year.... the city makes a half million dollars every time they give one of the tests...
Listen, we all want to know how many people passed. Just try and enjoy the fact that you know you will be on that list when it comes out. Right now the Dept is sitting on it's hands "like always", trying to see how we can do "more with less". They still need to go through the other list. "Our time will come"!!!
1st of all who cares how many passed....all that matters is that you did pass....i actually heard the same as oliery did of about 380....which does make sense...my command last yr, at this time there were about 10 that passed...after they thew out one question that bumped another 2. this year im one of five....all you should care is how many of them dont have 5 yrs yet...cause that bumps me in quicker....the rest is a waste of time...i suugest you all go reward yourselves and go get x box guitar hero and by the time you get bored with it ....the list will be out.....
reality is that these list go kinda quickly...even tho the economy sux...that stimulus package may move the list again....sgts get promoted, as do all the way up///in which they need to replace them...cops get hired and need bosses to watch them....these tests do cost the city money especially , to pay for those snooring hallway monitors...plus all the paper made etc....they wont dumb down the tests cuz then that turns into a liability factor...
96 huh. Sux that you didn't get 100. Then you could of told people you completly have no life what-so-ever.LOL I'm not hating, I scored fairly well aslo but nowhere near a 96
