just got a letter in the mail directing me to 1 Centre street. Letter says to bring assorted paperwork to establish my veterans preference, and to fill out some questionaire. I guess this is a sign the list is close to being finished although i did get a 96 so maybe they are just starting lol ? ..... any vet...

When the list is established you can contact DCAS @ 212-669-1357, enter you ss# and exam 8564. They will tell you your list number. WHEN THE LIST IS ESTABLISHED. Good luck to all. Last year I failed by 2, this year passed by 2. WooHoo!

About a little more than %10 of the people who took the test passed. Which means about 600-700 people passed the test because 6000 people took it. I cannot say where this came from for obvious reasons but believe me it is extrememly reliable and will be the outcome when the list is published. Now be aware...
