Do you guys think the first class of the 2013 sgt's exam has a chance of taking the LT's exam? I'm tempted to spend the money on a class but don't know if it's a waste... Keep in mind the date has been pushed to the 18th of April.

CONGRATS TO EVERYONE WHO MADE THE LIST WITH YOU TONS OF LUCK!!!!!!!! BUT IS THERE ANY IDEA OF WHEN WE CAN EXPECT ANOTHER SGT TEST? IM SURE THERE ARE PLENTY OF PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF WHO STUDIED VERY HARD AND JUST COULDNT FINISH THE LAST TEST (NO COMPLAINTS) BUT WE ARE EAGER TO TAKE ANOTHER TEST

During one of the meetings Commissioner mentioned that current ratio is 12 cops per sgt and he would like to change that to 7 cops per sgt.

In my professional opinion........ THE 2011 LIST WILL NOT BE CUT Now.....whereas anything can happen.......I would bet tons of money (if I had some) on the fact that the 2011 list would not get cut before it is complete PLEASE DO NOT REVISIT THIS QUESTION !!!!!!!!!!

(Maybe a dumb question, but I'm curious) What happens if the pba settles a contract before the sba. Then the top pay cop now has a salary exceeding the fourth pay step for a sgt. (Roughly only 4900 more). Then the top pay cop gets promoted??
