If I had to guess it would make sense for it to be in 2016 or at the earliest late 2015. How do I come up with this you may as the current list is going till march 2015 then this list of a year and a half ending in end of 2016. So I would guess early 2016.
I'll bet late 2015. The Dept likes to have over lapping lists. It's better to have a list sit for a year than to cut it close and possibly have multiple down months in promotions when you need supervisors.
Kinda agree with semp on that point... We were all shocked that they even gave 2013 test that quick when it was first released as a tentative date of June 14 back in nov 13
I've noticed they tend to announce a SGT exam when a current list reaches or is under 1,000 names. With that in mind, I can definetely see an Oct 2015 Sgt exam when the 13 list will be well under way with promotions.
i think you guys have a goood chance of some more steady promotions. The commissioner today spoke at the PA graduation and wants a 1 sgt to three rookie officer ratio for his new FTO program. With 950 going in this class and then possibly 2000 for January, that means the job will need to pump out SGTS.

Well for the record it almost took a year and 7 months for the 2009 sgt exam to start promoting from it after the exam was given.
After the 09 list was established it took about 8 months to start promoting from it. Thats what counts. And at that time the 08 list had less people left on it than the 11 list.
Yes, I understand that. No matter how you look at it, it still took 1 year and 7 months for the first bmoc class to go in for the 2009 sgt exam. If I can recall correctly, I think there was over 200+ people left off the 2008 list when the 2009 sgt list was released. Right now, there's 500 people left on the 2011 sgts list. Some say there is still a lot of people left on the 2011 exam, but reality is there are some people who are so jammed up that they won't even be considered for promotion. So this list is smaller than you think.
