I think we can safely assume any further chatter will lead to the same outcome. Guys getting their Class As pressed and dusting off the patent leathers. Unless Of course it comes from the heavy hitters.

I highly doubt that the dept can afford waiting until Sept. Sgt Vacancies are around 350s and its not even summer yet. Come July they will be in the 400s. Then again Mr Adams is super bi-polar so who knows ?!?

Not expecting any concrete information stemming from these threads, as I understand nothing is actually confirmed until the finest drops, but its nice to get an idea where the big wigs heads are at as far as promotions. Any info is good info imo

Lol I am hearing that an early May class is being discussed the Job is requesting 180 SGT but my source is saying the city is already giving an indication that they don't want promos so obviously anything can happen with this regime so well just have to wait and see. But if they shoot down May then I give up.

Im going to let nature take its course and be suprised one day when I come into work and make an Irish exit

Promos are a go! I just heard the numbers for SGTs might not be in the 150 to 180 area like we all thought. Hearing its possibly half the size. We will see.

On another note, like take the day was saying, no SGT promotions, just other ranks (LT AND CPTS) will be doing promotions. I dont understand the logic. Promos are next Friday as of now. Hopefully something changes
