When do you find out what commands you guys got?

They start field training in their new commands on Monday, so today would have been the latest for them to find out. Probably most people got what they wanted cause no ones posting anything bad.

are you serious?? obviously the department should just give everyone exactly what they want for their command choice....along with it will be the pay you deserve. You knew a promotion would equal another command and that was the chance you decided to take. Now why dont you try it first before you come on a board and complain about it or do what every other sergeant did before you....actually work hard and go somehwere you want to be. BTW, most ppl i know end up loving those commands they "dreaded"

sgt2be, it's frustrating because the commands I requested were busy commands and commands that were available (like the 75)...It's not like I requested the cupcake commands and got a busy command. And to me it's all about the commute and saving money on tolls, neither of which I got.

I understsnd.....u will be able to get out in about a year. There a plenty of gigs as a sgt. Don't go sick....stay away from ccrbs as much as possible and keep an eye out for openings. Good luck
