Civil service exam promotions will still go forward, discreationary promotions will be on pause for now. I believe it just might be at a slower pace.

ok, so, Civil service exam promotions are going forward? thats good for us, but whats the source?

discretionary promotions are frozen? that sucks, but it doesnt affect the list, but whats the source?

All Out Stay Out? was All Out extended? I'm out of the loop here.

Also, I heard that SSA and LSA are going away, unsure if that means the ones grandfathered in will be safe.

Many who are part of this transfer are saying it was made not "temporary" for the job not to have to pay everyone travel time. Not buying it ... but wow this is messed up. Did dirty ... so dirty.

There are over 600 mos doing all out and most are getting 2.5 hours OT travel time when they finish their tour. Its basically a free 2.5 hours. The ones who arent getting 2.5 are getting 1.5. Calculate that and its millions in OT money.

Again. I'd be prepared to stay if I was anyone on that list obviously. But it may be just a way to cut OT. Small possibility. Lets see what the official word is.

The track people got screwed. The 2nd day of all out they changed the command code to the pct we were assigned to for all out. I said then we weren't going back to the original command. Plus that was the rumor from the start we were not returning to original commands. So when the finest came down last night. People were devastated, especially those on track. Everyone was not on track. I wasn't on any track. I was on patrol but sent to another command for all out.

I heard this was a result of classes being canceled. The academy classes. But that makes no sense especially sense they are also putting more admin people on the street. A lot admin gigs are being reduced. I heard CTTF may be another unit disbanded. Don't quote me. Just a rumor!! They said IAB is too top heavy. They are assigning more bosses to patrol from IAB.

Also heard Tuesday more transfers are coming down. But this is suppose to be the anti crime cops to squads.

I'm not that far off on the list so I am not stuck in the PCT forever. When promotions pick back up.

Whats this 12 hour tour rumor going around that the city offered to the PBA?

How can IAB be too top heavy if there are openings for bosses on POST right now?

word is CTTF isnt going anywhere. We thought transportation was getting disbanded, but it most likely will be staying. Theres even listings for cops for CTTF on post.

Really sucks for those who got the boot to All Out, but even some guys from my unit (usually very protected) got sent as well. It could just be those that got sent werent cut out for the spots.

Just a rumor I heard. When they said top heavy ... it's in reference to Captains and above as top heavy. I do not know if there's any truth to the rumor. I was just reporting what I heard.

40 to 30 is really not that extreme...ill be grateful if a 25% reduction is all patrol sees...i venture that all non-arrest OT is going to be HEAVILY scrutinized.

As far as my unit goes, were ok with it. But losing 25% of your overtime is going to push a lot of seasoned detectives out the door.

Ok so they are not getting disbanded but they still sending a lot of cops back to patrol. Will it be based on seniority or a phone call!  confuse

I wonder if this is going to be a permanent thing? Or will they get sent back once all the details and parades are back?

4lts, 9? Sgts, and about 150 cops being transferred out. Rumor is to an all out command at first then to a permanent command afterwards

everyone that was in command code 401 got transferred, it was for congestion and vision zero. So I guess vision zero is dead now.

I know a couple of guys in CTTF and they wrote their asses off, it wasn't exactly a tits detail. This is the "thanks" they get, a swift kick in the ass.

Yeah but eventually when everything goes back to normal I can imagine that theyre going to need more people again. Right now it makes sense because nothing is going on, and CTTF doesnt have much to do.
