A BMOC start date of 11/19 and promotion ceremony supposedly scheduled for 12/21 only 5 weeks into BMOC. Isnt it more likely an 11/12 start date for next BMOC and promotion ceremony 6 weeks later on 12/21.

Its 5 weeks u graduate then u do 1 week in ur cmd total 6 weeks. Plus people doing it during Christmas so academy dont have to deal with u.

Also they not doing 85-90.

Academy dont have resource that's why you are broken into 3 to 4 groups.

Computer training

CIT Training you again regardless if u got it already

Taser training  u go again even if qualified

Leadership tactic at range

How this lt list moving quicker then our list when we need sgt? Hope they do 200 next.

The more LT they take the better because they are taking from the sgt rank. Opens up more sgt vacancies.

I was at the police academy Thursday. Spoke with several cops in bmoc class and they all stated between November 12 and 18.

They most definitely can accommodate 80 people. It's not a problem. And yes. 80 is the number going in.

Any idea why or what the difference is between this number and the number the DCAS Automated line is showing as checked up to?

No need to do any of that. You can check your college credits by accessing the Education Tracking Unit on the intranet from any of the command computers. If you dont a have a account you can create one and all your information will appear.

safe to assume its pretty accurate. If you call them or go in person they will be looking at the same information. I called them and they didnt want to give me the info over the phone. They directed me to go on the intranet.

No clue. Was told that mentoring is starting in the end of October, leading to a November Bmoc. I also don't know if it's just for admin cops or everyone. I'll fill you guys in if I get more info.

No start date mentioned but command choices have to be emailed no later than the October. 23rd. Looks like they got into the 430s on the list They jumped around a bit.

There was an additional email sent out to 10 cops stating that there is a possibility they may be participating in the mentoring program. That email covers up to the low 440's.

There was talk of two large classes going in to BMOC in Nov and Dec. Is that a real thing or is the Dec class bs?

Looks like people got emailed for mentoring ranging from where they left off to low 440s.. so seems like at least 1 large class.

Does anybody know what tours they make you do or if you have a choice for the mentoring program?

I heard that mentoring was steady Sunday Monday RDOs and the tour was dependent on the command. Some let people choose others were told either Days or 4x.
