My command is short 3 sgts and we are about a "nothing" of a precinct as it gets. I can't imagine what the larger precincts look like right now. I don't see how much longer the job can go without promoting sgts.

Would they cancel it this late in the game? Nothing is changing with the farsical LT exam in the next 48 hours. Finest message usually comes down late afternoon of the Wednesday before, right?

Late afternoon sounds abt right, it comes down from the uniform promotions unit, it has come down on Thursday in some instances with late decisions/clearances. The lawsuit was mentioned but as of today isn't affecting the sergeant's class. Just a few more days.

I know I might ruffle a few feathers but is anyone else concerned they might eventually kill this list? Not being an ass but I'm honestly shaky about it right now with the logjam the Lt are creating and now they are giving another test...am I just freaking out?

When this list came out the 2011 list still had hundreds and hundreds of names left. Don't worry about that at all.

 So am I, if they take 40 I Def won't get in this class. The next class Would be a sure bet for me. I finally asked my bosses to keep me inside. The TS ,though, I found could be more dangerous lol

that sucks wingDICK I really wanted to meet you in the class :(. oh well I guess I just did better then you on the test. I actually hope the list somehow gets cut and you don't even get promoted.
I got hooked up my last few months. I haven't done patrol since dec. all I can is thank god this class is finally going in I studied my dick off for this and I cant wait to yell @ every ****ing cop on this job,
they are all dumb ****s and everyone is looking for the easy way out!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY MY TIME HAS COME!!!!!!!
