ANOTHER SILLY QUESTION... How long is BMOC? I see we are assigned there until 01/03/2016 ... Can someone advise the details

5 weeks on paper. 4 weeks classroom 1 week field training. Give or take a few days

12/28 thru 1/1 will be "field training" at the precint. Aka NYE details lol.

Do you get permanently assigned to the Pct you do the your one week of field training at after bmoc?

You do 4 days of field training at the command while you are still assigned to the academy.  Then on the 5th day, you go back to the academy to talk about your first 4 days as a boss.  After that you get permanently assigned to the command.  It is the same command.

Are you able to take vacation during BMOC? Like if you already have a week as a pick and you've scheduled a flight, do they honor the vacation or are you out the flight money?

They will work it out with you. There are a few restrictions but for the most part you'll be fine

Is there anyone currently in bmoc that has an avp  and has tickets to go away ? Are they accommodating or are you out the plane tickets

They are honoring Vacation picks in BMOC. Bring a copy of the picks with you when you are transferred and you'll be okay.
