I've been a long time follower and second time commenting (the last time was over two years ago). But, now that the 2013 list will become active when the next group goes in after the November class, I can't wait to see how our list will change and how many hold overs there are from the start. I'm not wishing anyone ill will either, but lets face it, there's probably going to be some that don't have enough time (not many because the test was over two years ago) or that have gotten jammed. Anyway, good luck to all my fellow 2013 list members. I hope that things progress faster than some of the pessimistic forecasts.

This just in, from a confirmed source... 1 PP just got an industrial paper shredder, and they are going to test it by running the 2013 Sgt test through it.

bad news...heard they established a cutoff for this list...if you have less then 100, dont expect to be promoted...heard this from some guy muttering to himself walking past 1pp...dont kill the messenger lol

41 SGT vacancies and 22 on terminal as of 11/2. It appears that approx 35 LTs will be promoted on 11/24. Added together it comes to 76 Vacancies and 22 on terminal. Approx 23 cops will be made to SGT on 11/24 so subtract that and it comes out to 53 Vacancies and 22 on terminal as of 11/24. Sounds like a recipe for a 60-70 plus size class. Here's hoping.

They put a class in last year. It's really based on needs of department and it looks like they'll have over 50 vacancies by December so I say it's likely they put one in.

There was a class of 41 last December. As stated above, there will be a minimum of 53 vacancies with 22 on terminal leave as of 11/24. That's 75 potential seats for a class. That number may well be higher, but that's the LEAST it can be. Math and simple logic suggest that there will be a class of at least 50 in December to cover for outright vacancies.

I would agree it would prob be 11/30, but keep in mind BMOC is technically 5 weeks long. 4 classroom and 1 week field training. Of course anything is possiable on this job but i would hight doubt anyone in the december class working new years eve.

This is more of a shout out to Brat... Every one on the 2011 list was very fortunate to have Brat confirm info.. .
The way I saw it was; if Brat didn't say it, it didn't matter.. I considered every one else's comments much like i consider my baby talking at the diner table... Its cute but its still babel.. I hope you guys have Brat on your forum giving you info.. If not, Go Look at the 2015 LT list..lol...Its a Blood Bath in there... lol. Good Luck...

PS the list cut off point is 99.98 good luck to all who passed. Heard it form a good source at the homeless shelter near 1 pp.

All of these damn rumors and scaring people... But seriously, cut off is a 97 and below. Heard it from halal vendor that sells pretzels during the month of November in front of city hall that heard it from a passerby when he went shopping at trader joes in the organic nuts section... But it was a mutter and may have been misconstrued with a horse race he was betting on at OTB in New Jersey. Good luck

Typically you start hearing legit info during the third week of BMOC. Anything before that is usually kinda suspect. The third week starts monday.

The fact that there has not been a peep or even rumor about Dec makes me think the outlook isn't good . Although a down month makes absolutely no sense and a large class is what the dept needs according to vacancies/incoming recruits.

I wouldn't discount a class yet. It's usually around the end of the third week when anyone knows anything anyway. Keep the faith, the numbers support a class. But we know how this job is. They do what they want, when they want to do it.

Friend in this current bmock stated that they where informed of no December class. 2013 list will start beginning 2016.... But let's hear it from BRAT first...

12/7 is an odd day for a Dec class. We wouldn't be out in time for nye. I thought a Dec class would start earlier in the month maybe even the last week of Nov in anticipation for the holidays and nye. Right?!?

Someone I know in personnel also said they expect a Dec SGT class. We'll know soon.

The # from POS is approximately 50. Could be more, will be advised when they have the official #.
