Not sure how truthful but I am hearing they may do away with the 70 requirement for this test to make it seem fair. honestly I did study but was rushed and missed some easy questions because I was rushing has anyone heard this dropping of the 70? The extra 30 are legal so not sure what is going to happen.
No inside info, but my feeling is that is just crazy talk. Nothing will happen with this test. It won't get thrown out, or curved, or held up a "long time" by any lawsuits. People need to let it go.
If anyone wants a history lesson, here's the link to the court papers for the 2011 LT exam lawsuit. Check it out and see how "successful" that was. iapps.courts.state.ny.us/iscroll/SQLData.jsp# enter the letters in the captcha screen and it will take you to the papers. The excuses in the court filing are very similar to what the crybabies here are saying on these forums. As you'll see in the judge's decision(dismissal), she didn't give two fcks. I'm not worried in the least.
So then what is passing? I got a 74 so should I worry? If so then I will have a lawsuit because the NOE said 70 was passing. Hope the SBA will back me on that one. So far the facts are DCAS screwed up and the SBA is suing.
So far the facts are the SBA is looking into the possibility of legal action. That's a looong way from suing big guy. Whether DCAS screwed up or not is a matter of opinion NOT fact. And the great thing about opinions is that everyone has one. As far as a 74, yes, you passed the exam and are going to make the list. Congrats.
So....wait.....you think emailing the PBA will get questions thrown out and the test curved? Really??...Really?? What exactly does the PBA have to do with the administration of exams and the grading and review process? You know what...this is so retarded I don't know why I'm even entertaining it. Holy Crap.
They won't throw this test out. The only possibility is counting the 30 extra and either curving it, or just allowing for a ridiculously large list (1 correct answer=1 point). Neither of those is likely either.
