Protest Review questions...strategy time!

The protest review session is saturday november 30. I know many of us forgot which unfair questions we wanted to protest. Lets combine our resources and knowledge to tackle this protest since we wont have any help from the promotional school teachers. Only we can get those unfair questions thrown out. Forget the lawsuit ideas and lets come back to reality and focus our strategies on saturday, mainly which questions we want to protest and the source of the material in question.

FYI: From what i was told by many who took this test, the second part of the continuous event question was 40 questions after the scenario and the first question; I believe it was 60 or 61. It did not provide any information but asked what to classify the 61 as. DCAS screwed up aligning this question; it should of come directly after the first one. The question most likely will be thrown out if protested.

Was that the question of whether to assign assault 2 or criminal mischief as the higher charge?

No that was a separate question..that question was part of the in basket I think question 16. Think one neighbor assaulted the other and broke his window. They had a 10 year age gap and victim was over 65 making it assault 2 being top charge not crim mischief felony for $300 damage or whatever price they gave over $250.. Def got that one wrong.lol.

That was at least a fair question.

well i know the jury duty question was asked twice and i was told by a few people that a uniform question was also asked twice in regards to the braid on the pants, if so there should be 2 questions thrown out. 1 am 100% certain there was a question that was talking about an officer smith in the question but there was a spelling error because he wasn't an option when i see it i will know for sure.

I believe that was an in basket question where they misspelled one of the mos name wrong but he wasn't a choice in the question.

Absolutely. But what we have to factor in is the fact that we are not getting help from the promotional school teachers from elite, fast track, key, rising star. So we have to be prepared to fight certain questions that we think were asked poorly or incorrect. Remember, we spent hundreds of dollars and months of our hectic lives away from family and friends to prepare for a test that was unfairly administered. That's why I created this thread, for us to collectively gather our thoughts and try to get those unjust questions thrown out.

Due to the time constraints I guess it would be simpler for everyone to focus on what they got wrong?

I physically went to Dcas for my scantron answer key on Monday and they said it will be mailed to my house before the protest review session, which still has failed to arrive.

It clearly states in the protest procedure letter that Dcas mailed to me that we have 30 days from the protest review session to submit protests by mail if we so choose, with 4 copies of your written protest for each question, along with 2 copies of the supporting documentation. We are going tomorrow to see what we scored first and foremost. since most likely no one will bring in the encyclopedia that we call a patrol guide, this is used to our advantage to check the questions that we think were unfair, try hard to remember them as best as can be, and then submit the protests by mail to:

protest Dcas bowling green station P.O. Box 974 NY, NY 10274-0974.

Once they receive your protests and post the exams eligible list, Dcas will then invite those who submitted protests to attend the test validation board. Don't get discouraged, we are in this together and have no help from the experts who taught our high priced classes. We need to collaborate our protested questions, we have power in numbers and our voices must be heard (braveheart moment).
