Hey ringer, I'm in the same spot as you. I didn't want to study 100% if not for the Lt. test, but not studying and getting call in time is a risk we just can't afford. F$(& it I'm all in as of right now. God/luck willing, see you soon in bmoc.

Brat, is that confirmed? Im out sick after having surgery, so if its tru thst its labor day I dont have to rush back by this Monday (which was I was trying to do). Means I can stsay out another week. But I need to be 100% sure its confirmed to be Labor Day.

Sept 5th (go in) - Sept 30th (get promoted)

Oct 3rd (go in) - Oct 28th (get promoted)

Oct 28th (get promoted) - Oct 31st (go in)

Oh , yeah I did. Actually I can get by going back to full duty this Monday but if the class isnt going in until LAbor Day I'd much rather take anther week off to recover. But I need to 1000% sure because if Im wrong and they DO put a class in the 29th and im out sick I get passed over. Ohhh the aggravation

I'm prob not making this sept class unless there's like 30 passovers. Lol. But to be honest I rather go in bmoc in oct. I don't want to have to learn a new job/command the month before test.

thanx Brat, I'm in Squad 1 with a vacation pick Aug 27 to Sept 5 including RDOs. I wasn't going to take it because BMOC might have been Aug 29 but knowing that it's going to be Sept 5, I think i am going to take it to avoid the West Indian Parade nonsense. Anyone know if being RDO on Sept 5 is going to be an issue?

You would be chart changed and have the 3rd and 4th RDO regardless. I don't think your command could use you because you'd be assigned to SLC as of 0001 Saturday.

Brat, that was very mean to say. We all knew that your time was coming soon, but you didnt have to remind us. We are very thankful for your info, and we wish you luck. If you graduatein one of the next classes, wear like a flower in your hair say we can personally say thank you. Youve helped us greatly. I woulda thot they woulda called my name in 2012, but now i have a different outlook at my pct, and can start learning the things i may need to know to be prepard. I called the education tracking unit to see what number they cleared up to, not to see if I was cleared. I never found out if I'm actually cleared. I should be though.

I just called EMD and told them my situation. Getting the person to actually speak even a few words was like pulling teeth (I must have caught her in the middle of her sandwich) but she daid say "Its supposed to be the 5th". SO it looks like brat is on the money. Im pretty confident with that. If anyone gets any other confirmstions PLEASE post them.
