Purely speculation. 10 Lts and 35 Sgts. Not great but forward progress. Assuming not much going on this summer so lets hope for bigger classes to in September.

They are not putting large classes in in June and July. Everyone needs to understand this. June July August are usually BY FAR the slowest months of the year promotion wise. The job cannot take large numbers of people off the street during the summer, it does not matter vacancy wise. September will pick back up with big ones id imagine

Being that they know summer is going to be slow for promotions, they should have gave the captain test in December. Im sure many people paid for the course at least it gives more people a shot at taking it.

Classes will average 25 the rest of the way. If one class is 20, next is 30, if theres no class, they gotta make the next class 50. No matter how you cut it, itll be roughly 25 a class
