Well the other forum mentioned the promotions possibly being delayed a week. I was able to confirm this is a possibly due to a lot of funerals happening this week. Was also told theyll have more later today. Seems like the old reliable sources from this forum had their wells of early notification run dry with the exception of 3year. Seems like we wont be hearing much until a day or two before list comes out.

You really dont think they can get to/get over 2,000 by 2027? A lot of people who passed the exam with close to a 70 (without throw outs, curve and who didnt have much seniority points) are around the 2,000 list number. So I highly doubt they will have an issue getting promoted. Hopefully we get promotions for the rest of the year and we should be close to 2,000 or higher starting 2026.
Just my opinion, but anyone 2,800 and lower should be good to take the next LT exam.

Yes I too also believe by the end of this year they will be at 2k or close to it

I had a 71 raw score with just over 5 years on when I took the exam. My List is just under 2000. My prediction also puts it around 2800 when I think it will be cut. At the current rate they are promoting my guess is that Ill be promoted sometime in the first quarter of 2026 at the latest. But who knows . For them to only get to 2000 would Mean an average of around 22 promotions a month. To get to 2800 would be around 60 a month assuming the list expires 5/2027

This maybe just my take on it so beware but my understanding of the situation based off the information I have available to me is that its going to depending on when you are getting promoted. Im basing that off of a couple of things.
First is how they are calculating your pay at the time of promotion. The amount they are basing it off is the total of your 80 hours multiple by the 26 pay weeks. Where the PBA has the 2.25% added as a differential, all the DEA decided to add it as your final raise when you hit 5 years in rank. If you are below 5 years in rank, with the current DEA contract you are at (119,689). Meaning you need to have 5 years in rank to have the 2.25% making your DEA salary (122,382) which would get you over the 5th Sgts step (120,600) to be bumped up to top pay (134,819) when you get promoted.
Secondly, it would depend when you are getting promoted. The DEA just got that raise now on 6/1/25 and are due for their final 4% increase on 6/1/26. Making top pay without the 2.25% (124,477) vs (127,277) with. The current 5th step for Sgts is (120,600) which is due to go up to (125,424) on 12/10/25. Meaning that even if you have the time in rank to get the 2.25%, if you get promoted to Sgt from 12/10/25 until 6/1/26, you will not be making enough to be over the 5th step until the DEA gets the last raise.
This is my interpretation of the contracts. Let me know if anyone agrees/disagrees or has any concrete information otherwise.
Yeah this is how I see it as well but no one knows if that 2.25% is included in my pay. Everyone Ive asked has told me is base salary. So I have no clue. Yeah Im hoping to get promoted before December. According to the list including resignations etc im 280 ish away

Do the math from ESS. If its closer 119 you know its not in there. If its closer to 122 you should be good. If its not I would speak to payroll and work it up the chain.

The 2.25 counts towards your base salary when calculating steps for promotion. Its the only thing that counts besides base pay.
