This doesnt immediately reflect on vacancies but in the last 8 week days of June, (15) Lts have submitted their papers to pension section for retirement. This retirement trend has been notably increasing lately.

Funny enough, I came here to ask that very question. That said, Im a bit concernedgiven the focus of Mamdanis goal on defunding and restructuringtheres a possibility they might start substituting Police Officer academy classes with civilian roles. If that happens, it could reduce the incentive or necessity to promote within, at least from his perspective. Just my two cents.

Promotions and hires will not stop. They will continue to dilute the pool with unqualified DEI hires and physically unqualified. Its all electoral slogans to get sheeple on board. However, the way this department will be ran will be different. Furthermore I see less responsibility due to lack of any kind enforcement that will be coming down from the top. Good for keeping your pension. I also see 0s across the board in future contacts if this bozo wins.

PBA is out of contract in August I believe. If the PBA can secure some decent %s before Adams finishes his term, those percentages will set the standard for all other ranks. We should hopefully be ok contract wise for 4yrs (if pba can finish the bargaining with Adams).

So thats two months in a row where they cleared 50, and then promoted 0, and then 10ish. Anyone know why?

It's probably why 3testwonder said there was no june class: low manpower and they don't want people unavailable during summer months.

Sucks, but hopefully it'll pick up again by the end of September. There's certainly enough vacancies for a couple big classes.
