Does anyone know if the list could be released in a Saturday? Im trying to see if I should keep looking for the release of the list this weekend. Also I know this has been asked a lot but is there any new info on what the cutoff will be (and if a 61 will make it and if so where on this list that would put you). Thanks all and be safe!

No list on weekends. The entire dcas and 1pp are rdo S/S.

And stop checking for a list lol. Even if a 61 makes the list you are looking at a promotion in 3-4 years. Sit back and enjoy life.

Yeah a 61 should put you in the very first class you should stay by your phone anxiously awaiting the list dropping this weekend smh

If youre not on the foil list that means your 61 + whatever throw outs you got didnt equal a 70

Maybe youll make it maybe you wont but no one has Intel on how much the curve will be.

I know this guy is sarcasm. Im just trying to make sure Im on this list and in a good position to get promoted in a reasonable amount of time. And as far as time zones every list they do differently. Sometimes it just appears one day. Sometimes its ceremonial and they will have a representative from the city read out the names one by one. As we saw with captains sometimes they wont have the scores. I am just trying to figure out the situation. Dr. Papi makes it up as he goes. Im here asking questions not trying to act like I know.

If the FOIL list is currently 2400 and that includes 70 and above with throw outs, a curve to 61 will make it around 4000 people. Lets be honest here. I honestly cant see how they physically can make that list. Even with a 1 year extension they struggled to get to 2600 on this last list. To even think about it at this point is silly.

Pretty sure you're trollman 9000. That said, sure it's possible a 61 is on the list. Unlikely though. If you are however, you'll likely die on the list, unless they extend it. If they extend it you have about 4 years to wait from the day it comes out. If your serious about these questions, you need to take a chill pill. Go on vacation, live your life. Are you okay? You need to stop living in the future, and forget the past. Live in the present and find peace. If you were not on the FOIL you failed. That's it. Perhaps you will get curved onto it, perhaps not. Make peace with failure, and find out what you did wrong in your studies. Even if by some miracle you make it, you will need to seriously reevaluate your studying technique for the Lieutenants exam. Failure is beautiful but only when we choose to learn from it, not when we deny it.

No one knows. Those guys who say a 61 will be a passing score are either in the same position as you and have extreme optimism or are just straight talking out their a$$. The truth is that none of us really know what the hell will happen with this list. Good luck to you bro, and try to analyze what went wrong for you and fix those issues like the other user said.

I have a certain Dr. On speed dial and he tells me 61 is a for sure pass, start buying your chevrons and gold cap device and braid and the 1 1/4 duty trousers. Don't let these negative Nancy's stop you.

I cant answer that for you. I was told exam will be curved. Not sure what the cut-off will be. we will soon find out.

Thats not the issue. A lot of us worked hard and got MOST of the questions correct (over 50 correct). In my case I got an overwhelming majority of the questions correct. On these tough exams a 61 is great. All we are doing is remaining hopeful that we make it.

Im sorry a 61 is horrible and not passing. A standard was set that you need a 70 and above to pass and you clearly didnt make the cut. You justifying a 61 is the same as someone justifying why they dont need to pass the run to graduate. You may in your opinion, think you studied hard and long but clearly you werent studying correctly. 2360 people were able to pass this test so dont tell me the tricky test writers got ya. You lack knowledge of the patrol guide or lack decision making skills to distinguish between the right and wrong answers on test day. With this participation trophy department you will most likely be on this list but dont think you deserve to be on this list because you got majority of the questions correct. Your definition of majority being above 50. Imagine if above 50 was the standard to get on the job, pass the trimester tests because its overwhelming majority.

This right here!! if you got a 61 you didnt make the standard, end of story, 2400 other people did, you have no excuse, I dont care how hard you worked and tried, it was not good enough, move on

Whoa that's some seriously flawed logic. First off 61/100 is not an overwhelming majority. Stop crying and work harder next time. When an active shooter situation goes south the families of the victins aren't gonna wanna hear you did 60% of the things right. This is a serious job, and it requires seriously competent people. For years and years the department has lowered it's standards and look where that has gotten us.
