Day 1 test takers like myself please the phone turned off until the day 2 exams are over. So no one can complain you didnt pick up the phone when s/he called you for test questions.

20$ says there will be whatsapp messages within an hour after the second session day 1.

should just be one day of testing.... jam pack every single DCAS center.

how many people signed up for this test? is it known yet?

Approximately 2500 people signed up; they cant accommodate all applicants. DCAS testing centers in total can hold about 700 people thats why its two days and two sessions.

Its consistent though. at the beginning mifsud said half the rank takes the test. 2500 is more than half

So the test basically has a 50% pass rate, that is better odds than the sgt test.

Theres a ton of cops who take the sgts test and never even studied.

Not many sgts take the lts test and dont study. These are people who know what it takes to pass an exam.

This exam is very competitive. People are still getting promoted from the 2017 exam ! People on the 2017 exam are Captains today. No room to be the last in line. Hit the books!

This, thats why when you hit the Capt test its all studiers and in a different academic demographic then the sgts test

I thought these promotional tests have around a 20% pass rate. That is, before the recent usage of a curve/weighting on the exams.

If there's 2,500 sgts taking the test, and the last Lt. list was ~1300, then yeah the "pass" rate of this test is going to be close to 50%, assuming they want a similar list size. That doesn't mean a score of 50 will be passing, but it could.

2017 Sgts exam had a ~25% pass rate after the curve.

Now that we are a few days away from the exam. I think its extremely important to reiterate this message for day 1 takers. For those of you who are thinking of giving day 2 takers questions and answers. You are literally bending over and letting that guy/girl skip a bunch of names on the promotional list. The restless nights, the stress, time off from for family, etc. will be for nothing and can possibly land a extra year or two wait on the promotional list (depending on the size). I wish everyone the best of luck on Thursday and Friday!
