This test is definitely getting curved. The last exams all have big lists, there are many Sgt vacancies.

Im with you, this shit is trash. We are robbed of the opportunity to takes exams sooner and make the rank faster, but it is what it is. We cant control those things lol.

What basis do you use to make such claims?

I'm not necessarily saying I don't believe you, but that sounds fishy... unless you have a really good source in the palace. I don't think DCAS or the department ever schedule "dates" to release a list. They may have an approximate idea of when it'll be ready, but they don't say "we're releasing the list on February 10th." They release it as soon as it's ready.

I got a random question:

If you have unit citations or other awards that are worth fraction of points, do they apply automatically once you achieve a passing score? or do you need to reach out to someone to make sure the correct number is applied?

reason I ask is because there are a lot of speculation of curves and throwouts etc. How the hell do I know exactly where did I gain an extra point or two from?

example if my raw was 70 and then I end up with 80 I can assume some points are from seniority, some points are from FIT, some points are from awards and maybe possible throwout/curve but how do you know all is applied correctly

The Dept sends DCAS each passing UMOSs profile Of fitness points, accumulated over last 4 years, and then medals accumulated over your entire career and that is pretty much the last thing they do i think before the list gets established. Or thats how i understood it. Ive asked about that in the past

The first thing is a curve if we get that, then they get the protest questions knocked out which i guess took 5 months, then seniority. Good luck everyone cant wait to get our list numbers hopefully in the next 30 days.

Do you really think the job gives a damn about the high scorers being able to take the LT test?

Right, which is why mid March doesn't seem too farfetched. Unlike your bold claims of "this week."
