Yea man it sucks. Its not fair, all of the higher ups had a chance of taking their exams with more frequency. the days of 7/8 year LTs, 10/11 year captains are over. I took this test with less than 5 years on. Just hit 5 years, and will be taking the LT exam with 9/10 years on. Thats pretty ridiculous, compared to how it used to be. We cant afford to fail exam, itll feel like an eternity to retake it smh.

The 2011 class didnt take their first test until they were already top pay, and the ones that passed are now taking the LT test with almost 12 years on. Meanwhile, the class before them, the 2010 class has people about to be a captain in two weeks. I agree it sucks, but its the luck of draw, unfortunately.

thats true. I just hope its fluid you know? it will suck to make lists bigger just because administering exams is too much work. A lot of potential great leaders will have to wait very long to be put in a leadership position. But ofcourse this works both ways.

That sounds very realistic to me, honestly. I would love for the list to come out in January. Ive heard from some guys who are connected that it would come out later this month, but it seems a bit too soon in my opinion. Lets see what happens.

He was actually dead wrong on the Captain list. Said it would be barely 200 names long and was never consistent about when it would come. Its almost 500 names long lol. Just FYI, you can go through his post history and see for yourself.

I heard Feb release from 3 different people..im not saying this is factual just what is floating around out there. Take everything with a grain of salt until actual release. I can see the list being similar to last. As much as we question the jobs tactics they tend to know what they need. Grateful I passed. Hopefully we hear good news in coming weeks.
