Its scary some of these people will be executives on this job. But again, once youre a Captain, the fun begins. You make real decisions (your decisions are final). Hope it will change them.
like i was saying 200-250--anything above 200 is lasting a minimum of 3-3 1/2 years. even if big entry class they promote 10 at a clip usually. another exam probably in 2025.

Their saying if 115 initially passed, and now their saying 202-250 passed, theres a chance it was curved due to the horrendous test writers focusing on Sh*T procedures instead of real world questions As the Majority.
no one is saying its curved at 250 people, its CURVED BRINGING IT UP TO 250.
if the list is 100-150 captains there should be another exam in 2023! And thats probably not happening.
so curve it to add a few names like they did on the last sgt exam with 2,000+ which everyone said is Impossible and then said IMPOSSIBLE that it will not be cut.
here we are - no ones Cut.
same scenario here seems practical. drpapi what do you think? i read on rising people saying u wrote questions and work as the xo in the 104pct as i saw in previous Posts.

Although, the exam was hard, a lot of people passed it. i would say it was well over 115 people. It appears more like 200. You could ask around. Youll figure out about an average of 3 people passed per precinct. Do the math.

Challenge accepted
77 Precincts x3 = 231
9 PSA x 3 = 27
12 Transit Districts x 3 = 36
= 294
so all of the offices on this job that have above average pass rates because people can sit during work for 5 hours uninterrupted to study - none passed.
294 according to that math - making it the easiest test in Captain history according to that Math.
The person who was called to verify military at 68, plus other knowledge - big number up front to fill FTU - the new impact needs tons of captains plus the realignment coming soon - curve is real folks
But none of us will know till it happens or it doesnt so lets just all enjoy the holidays
As for me I need one point - which I should of had from protest so church on Sunday for me

What the hell are you talking about?! what FTU? academy barely crunching few hundred recruits every 4-6 month, first impact class is up for retirement next July. More people are retiring than joining pd. Besides since when you need tons of captains to run rookies. You need sgts, a LT and one rookie Captain PER boro
Guys focus,
the important thing now is figuring out what does this mean. The person everyone is posting about didn't just pick up 1 point to go from a 69 to a 70. From the sounds of it, he picked up a couple. That means it had to be some sort of curve.
There was no curve. Zero. Couple throw outs. The false hope people are spilling here is really shameful get a life. List out soon so you ll see there was no curve their happy with list size.
Next exam in 2025. Knowing job probably another blood bath. But this false hope thing is like watching passengers on the Titanic saying we ll be home in a few hours.
No one has any concrete solid information. Everyone is simply speculating. We've been on the job long enough to know that things change a thousand times, before they're solidified. Why get all bent out of shape because one can be hopeful. It's called optimism, maybe some of us call it faith. It's great to have this avenue/forum, where we can all share hypothetical scenarios because I can reassure you NO ONE here has any SOLID info.

Nobody is spreading rumors or giving people false hopes. There is someone that went from a failing grade to a significant higher score. I am just wondering what's going on. You guys are quick to jump in here and say any random shit but I am telling you what I am telling because I saw it. So I guess what I saw is not real because you say that it isn't. ok I got it.

Bill Parcel, Sonsofxqvier, DrPapi, they all speak and said no curve. They make the final call and you should accept it. As per those guys, there is no curve.
Why is this difficult to decipher? 68, two throwouts gets a 70. Then seniority up to 5 points, jst up to another 2.5 points, then points for medals.
My man. Read carefully before commenting back. i never said there was a curve. The person we are talking about got a 68, which was posted on to the DCAS dashboard. The day this thread was started, he did not receive any additional points. His score stayed at a 68. 2 weeks later he is going to verify military points cause he has apparently passed. Now this is where it gets confusing for you people that dont read the entire post so keep up. Those 1-2 points some people got added to their score was NOT from protested questions/throwouts. It was from 2 questions found with grammatical errors prior to the protest session began. Hence why some people got 1,2 or 0 points back. Now what you are saying is what I hope is exactly what happened. This person got multiple throw out from protested questions, and passed the test. Simple as that. The protest scores have simply not been added to the DCAS dashboard. Thats all Ive been trying to say all along.
I just checked my dashboard. Its no longer is showing my raw score. Maybe we're close to a list release...who fucking knows at this point.
I think your right. The last time it said ERROR when i tried logging in multiple times, the next time the server worked, i had changes made. So Hopefully later today or by Monday theres some updates.

Do you know if that person gets an updated passing score on the dashboard now?

As of last time checked it still read 68. however looks like DCAS is updating the dashboard as we speak . Hopefully updated scores from protest are out Monday
If all this shit rings true, how the fuck did some get points after the protest and some didn't? It's all so bizarre. Again, I want to reiterate. I KNOW FIRST HAND of a person who had a 69 AND DID grab 2 points. It showed on his dashboard.

I guess, it is safe to say that they didnt update his score on the dashboard while some other people did.
That has been the point of this threat. Someone dash still says 68 but after going to DCAS the score was significantly higher. That is all we are saying. I Know people like that too. This is someone that after the so call protest points were issue and available on the dashboard, the person was still failing.

It's Monday. Just checked dashboard. Score remains same.
Theres a million different reasons DCAS dashboard could have been down for over the weekend. Thats why the word hopefully was used. Im not a mind reader and I do not work in DCAS. Can anyone confirm if any military guys who originally failed number has changed yet on the dashboard?
