78, that test was hard af. A lot of 2 and 1 star procedures and procedures that we will never follow as captains comparable to the 2015 Lt test congrats all who passed

Im in the 80s over here. I personally thought it was a tough exam and was not a fan. With that being said I cant complain I did pretty darn good. Remember guys a lot of people probably still have that Covid nonsense excusal, lets not give it up. They need to earn it!

Cant believe Im saying this but totally agree with Leslie. Hearing there were a ton of COVID sick & regular sick leave scammers who will take the makeup exam. You also have the extended leave scammers who will come back a month before the list is established and take the makeup exam. When DCAS made us wear a mask the entire timei knew this exam was going to be a shitshow.

100% - Im in the same boat as you.

My room was filled with people who bragged about failing.

everyone was waiting to exit and bonded over i failed but man was it easy i almost passed but man it was straight forward

I failed but who cares I didnt want the promotion anyway. I make 400 hrs of OT and more money anyway

lots of people who failed are calling it easy. An easy test (subjective) is a test you score High in and not fail.

I understand brother but at least you passed. I know a few good men and women that studied just as hard and got in the 50s and 60s

Your 71 on this exam might be the equivalent of an 81 on the 2017 exam. We will see.

Whether  you got a 75 or a 95 you will be a Captain. This was an extremely difficult test and anyone that passed should take pride on that .

Highly doubt there's many patrol guys/gals that crushed this exam. I'm on 4x12s and could never study at work, no excuses though, I should have just hit it harder when I was home.

I studied hard for the 2017 LTs test and got a 91 raw score. I studied harder for this one, and got a 71. This was NOT a fair test.

Passed. 71. Very unfair exam. They wrote it to fail exam takers PERIOD. I know guys who killed themselves studying and are in low to mid 60s. Believe list will be between 125-150 with an exam in two-three years. I also heard from someone "in the know" of 114 passers at this point. But on this job all you have to do is tell two people something & its citywide in 5 mins and the story has been changed to include some type of deviant innuendo so who knows. The ground ball Lt Exam of 2017 i think also shell shocked test takers of what a magilla of an exam can be like. I took the 2015 Lt exam and made it but I will die at least 5 years prematurely from the toll that took on me. Congrats to all who passed they make all Captain lists.
