There are still some people out sick/military or with some BS excuse who has not taken the exam. BUT I HAVE IDEA, lets all get together and the exam on my exam so they can have the exact questions on THEIR exam. WAKE UP PEOPLE.. And you wonder how you get leap frogged when someone has a score of 103.. Yes it has happened and continue to happen because of acts like these

And a lot of them, who managed to "ace" the LT exam, somehow failed the Cpt exam or barely passed

I sent an email with 7 questions that I believe could be protested

I worked with one of the military guys on that list too when he was a sergeant. He wasnt military, he took a leave of absence to go to Officer Candidate School during the test, then got hurt and dropped out without finishing after the test was administered. He then openly bragged about how his buddy gave him the questions prior to the makeup exam. He was shitting bricks after all these cheating accusations started coming out, but he got promoted and is still an LT in a cushy spot.

Your frustration is understandable. But thats just a few names of people that will take advantage of the situation. People are going to find a way to cheat regardless. The potential value of raising your score makes it worth it even if the cheaters take advantage.

if we all get enough substantial protests together, we all win. This is a sergeants test. Getting on the list gives you a 90% chance of getting promoted. Especially in these times where we need officers in all ranks.

Ok and i agree with you but that was the Lieutenants test. So it happened on the makeup, not the ACTUAL test. If i get a 68 or 69 but still pass i will be grateful, but noone can sit here and openly tell me this isnt the most controversial exam in nypd history. Different days, im sure twice as many people passed day 2 compared to day 1, rampant cheating and text message proof, so ive heard several IAB logs, all within a day?

Idc if i passed throw it out and ill retake it. Until we stand up and do something about it theyll always expect us to sit back and take it. Everyone that took it day 2 is saying it was fair because they had an idea of what was on the exam. Enough is enough

Participating in the protest session is the only was to expose DCAS' incompetence! The difference between The Key's protest sessions and the discussion that occurred after the 2015 lieutenant exam is that it is live and in person--and not virtual. The scammers are trolling the forum and quietly gathering information; they will not be bold enough to appear at an in-person session!

"Not bold enough to attend a protest session".. Maybe not attend "themselves", but all it takes is their fellow friend or colleague to attend one of these LIVE training sessions, and before this protest session is over, the entire exam will be out there for a scammer to take their exam on a alternate date and score an 104.

Why not host this protest session AFTER the scammers take their "alternative date exam?"

I am not sure what the answer is, but me attending a PUBLIC protest session and give away what I work hard for is not the logic answer.

I studied hard! If I pick up one or two points from questions being thrown out in results of a protest "yippie." But it doesn't make sense for me to attend a public forum protest session, share my questions for someone to leap frog me and score 104. I would rather miss out on those 2-3 points rather than having a whole mob of people leap frog me.

I don't mind emailing The Key, Rising Star or Elite my name and tax, copy of my job ID, and copy of notice of examine, to show as proof that I already actually took the exam.
If there was a better system, I would be open seeking advice on protesting questions, but in a public forum where anyone can walk in, and walk away with an open book test, is not a solution here.

But the BIGGER issue here is the 6000 officers who took the exam on the 2nd Day. I would like to know what The Key, Rising Star or Elite is helping to combat that.

The solution is PO take exam in paper, all on same day. Wait to get results in mail. That will avoid half people getting answers on day two
Other ranks, have less people sitting in to take the exam, they can take it on computer and get results the same day.

How can The Key, Rising Star or Elite assist in this matter???????

They need to show up to the protest and dispute the bad throw outs especially Yanosik
