Heard the new NOE dropped and its more vague and leaves more questions then the first one. Horrible, do they want a lawsuit ? They dont even mention the AG
Saw that.. also alludes to an inbasket? Had heard prior there was no inbasket.
From the NOE:
Make Adjustments to Roll Call and Assign Personnel During Tour: These tasks involve making changes in roll call, assigning personnel to post or duties, and making adjustments in assignments as situations arise. These tasks involve both civilian and uniformed personnel.
I just took a look at the "revised" NOE. Yes, there are still questions that need to be answered. The way this NOE reads, the exam may or may not not be on June 6th now. Further, it may or may not be computerized, and yes, they did leave out "Administrative Guide" (but cover themselves with a disclaimer stating it may be additional resources they draw from). In reading between the lines, I believe DCAS has not formalized anything yet regarding this exam - they have not decided on location(s) or testing method/format yet. They state that your admission notice (given to you 14 days prior to the exam [date unknown]) will give you further information on location and format. Clearly this is unacceptable. Rising Star & The Key will again look into this debacle and fight for our students. We will keep you posted as we uncover credible information......In the meantime, don't be distracted by the noise! Keep studying hard!

This is beyond messed up. I feel for you all. This reminds me of the 2015 LT madness...the reason I didn't touch another promotional exam (until now/next one). I'd say since the NOE says "non-exclusive list" that the AG will be on there (what? are they not gonna cover discipline or personnel?)...but I can see them not giving a finalized date until barely before the exam. Ugh, I'm sorry folks. Tony is right though...there will be an exam, so don't get distracted over this...it's a war of attrition.

Wow. I have no words. This is so F'd up. Just keep studying and reading and doing questions. I'm sure some people will start to stress out and give up. Don't be one of them.
Regardless of what notice says, its the same material you have to know. When where and how is secondary and shouldnt effect your score in any significant way unless you let it. If you know it , you know it.
At this point I just hope the test is still scheduled for June/July. We finally have a cutoff date I think everyone is happy with. I guess we shall see in the coming weeks.
