So the countdown begins when the list is established and not when the first class goes in? I thought it was near August 2023.

This is incorrect. The clock begins when the first person is promoted. Just add 5 years from whenever that first class was. If its not May, someone advise and maybe a moderator can go ahead and edit the thread description.

Just call the DCAS hotline put in your list and exam and it literally tells you when it expires.
