I just checked out Yano's sample video for the Captain exam.... you gotta watch the first 47 seconds! lol. "remember, as a captain you must be assigned to a pct, transit district or housing....and be careful with this one....SIMILAR UNIT" lol

His material was good enough to put me in the top 10% for both the Sergeants & LT's exam. It isn't for everyone though, and if you're a self-study kind of person, just order the Rising-Star questions and stick with that.
I agree i like Yano and his material. Worked for me in the past. I usually just go to the class get my stuff and study at home. I dont care for the banter amongst the students. Given this is a captain's exam course im sure there isn't much BSing occurring. Im set in my ways at this point. Bought the rising star and will buy yanos class.
I hope you do study on your own, less competition Yano is instrumental at not just passing the exam but scoring as close to a perfect score as possible in order to make rank within the 1st year of the exam being established. He may sound corny and obvious but repetition is the key and he delivers on that promise with accurate up to date interactive lessons. I consider Yano a true mentor and every class I ever took of his was worth every hard earned penny that I spent. It has paid off exponentially for me as I have achieved all ranks up to date very quickly without being bottom of the barrel on the List. The difference? Making top pay sooner rather than later $$. Thank you Yano keep up the hard work and awesome energy! i will see you in class brother! In Yano I trust.

Yano is the cream of the FLOP. Total buffoon that has kids brainwashed with his yelling and screaming. I want to pass the exams, not be entertained. He's a fuc%ing cartoon character that should be at disney, not teaching how to take an exam. His material is full of mistakes on top of all that. Stick with the Key for real instructors and get Rising Star questions if your a serious student.

Godzilla.mmmm.. hi misfud! Lol. stop hating on yano. Hes been preparing for years for these upcoming exams. Heard his first class today was on point. not too sure about the key though, i took their course for the 2015 capt insano exam and failed bad. Misfud is hilarious though..especially his disdain for omap. personally i prefer elites material and the rising stars questions.

Isnt it interesting how Yano never mentions any other schools or how he is the best, but other schools go out of their way to say they are the best in the business. I know the split was bad but cmon already. How many years now, still sour grapes. #best in the business

I do wish the Key would release a Capts app for questions like they did for the Sgts. I know everyone would be interested in that Im pretty sure they arent but I hope they would reconsider if they get enough people showing interest

they addressed this in this weeks lesson. they said they were unsure if they were going to create an app for the capt test because of the timing with the sgt exam, but urged us to purchase the SGT App, and if they did create a captains app they would not charge you again for the capt app.

LOL and people are here complaining about Mike Yanosik? At least he provides his students with actual Captain questions on his app and on a weekly basis. I get it! The Sgts course generates more revenue, but at least give your students some questions.
The app is supplemental to all other resources we (The Key) provides. Each weekly lesson plan (all 16 weeks) will have Q&A at the end in addition to our weekly quizzer that is posted in KOPS. Moreover, we will be providing re-writes of prior Captain Exams. I guess there is never enough material.....
I think a lot of cross over students would buy the app if offered for the Capts exam. At this point students are already committed to certain classes but Im sure we would all buy supplemental questions geared towards capts duties.
True but theyre not releasing one for the Capts exam. Need to buy the entire course thats a pass on my end. Not buying two full courses. I feel confident with Yanos material.

@keycapt I agree with the above posts. Not going to lie I used elites course but I also purchased your questions for my exams in the past. I would do the same again just to give me extra questions to answer.
