The rumor I heard last week which started this chain reaction of numbers was city hall was approving a large number ( for all ranks). It was a total of 1,000 people (again all ranks... not 1,000 Sgt so there is no confusion) to be promoted over the next few months. Out of that number .....325 to be promoted to Sgt over the next 2 classes. Basically that 325 would be split in 1/2. This is where Truthseeker first gave us the big number of possible 150 to Sgt but it was never confirmed. However, Truthseeker said this number is subject to change again. Maybe....

It has been confirmed from Personnel Bureau that 240 names were checked and approved for SGT promotion. These are to be split into TWO promotions. One in July and the other in August. If 75 goes in on July 30 then that leaves 165 for August. I have a strong feeling that the 75 number might jump slightly when the finest comes down. If not August promotion will be huge for Sgts.

what would be a slight jump? 25-50? It doesnt make sense that the classes wouldnt be around 120 each if they really are splitting 240. I highly doubt an august class would be 160+

 I am not doubting your information. I am still hearing a big promotion for next Friday from my sources and I think numbers will go up. If you hear anything please keep us posted.

Truth your info is always spot on and much appreciated. This is the only department where things are so secretive for what.... I have no idea. But for some guys humping the radio on patrol this is their only source of info so thanks and keep that info coming truth!
