I didnt hear anything about LTs. Just a number out of a unit at the old academy. I have nothing else. Not here to gas anyone up or speculate, but source seemed very confident. I pray its accurate.

Hi guys just heard some unfortunate news that this class is delayed till further notice. I work in OPA and just got the the news before my EOT. Hopefully things change because I could be in the next incoming BMOC.

So many different rumors dont know who to believe. Now this last posts says postponed till further notice ?

Hope Truthseeker posts soon. Not discrediting anyone else but historically hes been the most accurate.

The number was never settled on. If it was I never was told which usually means things were still being worked on. I believe it was postponed due to the funerals but we shall see. Hearing the 12th as possibly new date

 Well if you hear anything regarding the amount, please let us know. I know they will have a new date soon. Some of us are more concerned about the amount.

 Im hearing possibly delayed due to poor recruiting efforts not many have signed up for the next test. Hope I am wrong as this could delay promotions. No inside info hear just what I have heard large class could also retire.

What does recruiting have to do with it? Those won't be ready for over 6-8months, and there will be more in between exams, aside from the plenty in the pipe waiting for their older exams to be completed. That's a ridiculous reason. A classic nypd tall tale.

It is 100% due to funerals. As per uniformed promotions.

Friday would be last day for finest if there is a class scheduled for May 11. But its all quiet here and I am looking for a March 11 style finest when it came down without any prior notice.

Doesnt sound like may will be a go. Thats what happens when city council decides on promotions. They dont care if we need certain ranks. They want to save money and keep us defunded.

 unfortunately thats 105m is going straight to thw 116 pct. we might not see any of it

A decision hasnt been made or wasnt communicated to the ppl I deal with. It sounded like most likely would be a June class but things could come quicker. I know this is very general but its the best I got right now as though it seems its in limbo for a reason I cant obtain
