They said in BMOC today that there may be another class at the end of March but for discretionary promotions only.

Most likely that is the huge detective promotion for all the precinct assistant FIOs. They got put on track September 2019. Typically sergeants and lieutenants get promoted on detective promotion days too but we shall see.

I say 20-25 LT... Lt are shifting to details from pct leaving vacancies. Every week you average 2-5 retiring. Its a matter of time.

Theres still about 180-200 vacancies in the LT rank. 20-25 would be a much smaller promotion than the vacancy in the budget calls for. We shall see.

Speaking of the next round of promotions, I dont agree with Deblasios politics but I gotta say, that guy has one magnificent, hot ass. I was part of the security detail for one of his speeches stationed behind him on the platform. I couldnt even concentrate on what I was doing, all I could do was just stare at the dudes beautiful ass. I hope nobody noticed, there were cameras all around. But what are ya gonna do.
