Good news. They will probably start promoting more people. I am not saying they will promote upto 1975. That seems pretty unrealistic for the remaining 16 months for the list.

Called DCAS.... it took forever to get through to the automated system. I called back after I heard it the first time to make sure I was hearing correctly!!

Well the rumor is promotions are set to resume in Sept/Oct. I hope the rumor is true. You can only hope.

Called DCAS automated line, states I am on an outstanding certification. Not sure that actually means anything at this time. Didnt say that when they cleared upto 1698 a few months ago.

It has in the past. But who knows. One rumor states promotion in sept/

oct. another says next July 2021. At this point nobody knows. Just have to wait and see.

All I know is the job cannot continue to function properly with a lack of sergeants and lieutenants, commands are beyond short handed.
