When is the current list for promotions set to expire? I am trying to figure out when the first promotions were off that list. Correct me if I'm wrong but civil service exams expire 4 years from the date of the first promotion off that list. 

I'm trying to determine the timetable of when those of us promoted and soon to be promoted to Sergeant can expect to have to study again, take the exam and wait and wait and wait again.

you should ask in the LT forum, as far as when dcas will administer, there is no telling. positive sign is that dcas just filied a notice of exam for FD promos. so thats a sign dcas might be starting again

June 5th, 2018 first promotion from the list. List will expire and die on June 4th, 2022.

So, I had such a situation that for further service and promotion I needed unique documents for a speech. Yeap 2023. All the bottom feeders will make it . Complete clowns can be any rank on this job. Who needs to study when the city hands out 10-15 points. Failures became passers.
