I have zero intel, but I believe there will definitely be a June class. It is the last month before the end of the fiscal year. Shea is the type of guy to try to promote as many as he can before he knows there will be major budget cuts come July. Just my two cents.

Would make sense that there was a June class. The money left over in the budget for the Dept needs to be spent. Who knows what the budget is going to look like come July. Hopefully they do 40. Im convinced there is still at least 100 vacancies or close to. Even with the last class.

The class is confirmed. I got that info today from a reliable person. Although I heard 37 are going in, not 32. Anyone else with more info? Anything less than 50 is ridiculous. We have a bunch of vacancies and are anticipating retirements come July.

Things can certainly change. As they often do and its really why I hate posting numbers on here. I know someone else confirmed the low number but trust me I have seen numbers change in hours rather then weeks. So let it play out and Ill post if I hear anything different

Remember though a "June" promo, since that is what this thread topic is, is not end of month May for LT's. It's end of month June considering LT's always get promoted up front. Im guessing there will be promos end of June to beat the fiscal year start which is July 1st. But just a guess not making any "predictions". Let's wait and see.

The group being promoted is supposed to be on May 29. As I said numbers change often and its still two weeks away. Just hold tight for better confirmation

IF THERE WOULD BE A CLASS ON MAY 29, I IMAGINE WE WOULD HAVE EMAILS GOING OUT BY LATEST TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK, MAY 26. SO WE WILL SEE I GUESS.

I just heard that up to list number 470 was cleared for promotion, but they only grabbed up to 460 for promotions on May 29th.

Thats not right. They clear way ahead of where they are now. Its probably cleared in the 550s.
