Not fake news. Only 30 people. According to Yanosik post, they reached 1015 on the adjusted list. Insane how small these classes are even for people who scored well

They put  21 Lt into mentoring and now they put in 30 cops in sergeant mentoring. The vacancies are not there, in my opinion they will continue to put in small mentoring groups unless the vacancies raises

I think because this test will expire in 2 more years and they always need to have an active list. The next sergeant exam will be early next year. Which will be the 3 year mark on this current list. When the new test is administered that list comes out minimum 5 month to even a year later. By then the old list will be close to expiring

They said it was meant for cops doing admin work or non patrol duties. Detectives, crime analysis, ect....  cops who haven't been on patrol for a while who just happens to pass a sergeant exam

Patrol cops dont go to mentoring? Just because you do patrol doesnt mean you know anything about supervisory duties.

Now all Sgts dont go to Lt mentoring as its literally just a change of shirt color.

mentoring isnt to learn about supervisor duties, thats what BMOC is for.
