Education Tracking Unit Transcript

I received an email months ago from the Education Tracking Unit requesting I verify my college credits for promotion. Although I do not have a college degree I do have more than the 64 required college credits on record with the department. Do I really need to have a transcript sent to this unit if I clearly have the educational requirements on record? Has anyone done this or has not done this and then was promoted without an issue?

I had same. Still haven't done it. Have about a year or so, but I know I'll get it done at the last week.

If you got an email from them then thats saying you DONT have your education on record VERIFIED with the department and will not get promoted if they reach your list number.  Someone I know was in the same boat and got the same email and I told them to reach out to the education tracking unit ASAP.  I will give you the same advice to reach out to them ASAP.  You can also  log into the education tracking system applicatlion in the dept intranet and that will tell you everything you need to know.  Depending upon how far away your number is I wouldnt wait till the last minute because it can take 3-4 weeks to get completed by the time you get everything sent and received.  Best of luck

It also happen to me. i summited a transcript and my degree when I got hired years  ago.  few months before I got promoted I went and check and they didnt have any college record from me Only military. So I had to go to the school and had them mail an official transcript to them. If you are counting your academy credits on the 64, you need to have the college add them to your transcript and you need to be enrolled in the school in order for them to do that. So if you havent done that, your academy credits are just up in the air.

Contact them and have an updated transcript sent to them. Remember, the academy credits need to be on an official transcript from a school like Excelsior. Good luck and don't wait too long. It's better to set it and forget it..

With the beginning of my studies, there was no longer enough time for sports, and it is also important for me. Therefore, when the term papers began, I used the services of special companies, so I also make me a summary excellent. At any time of the day, you can contact them and in a short time the work is already ready, maybe they will help you too.

I got the same email and assumed it would be a simple process to get the credits I earned from the academy and training placed on to a transcript. John jay told me to kick Rocks. When I called education back, they informed me Id have to pay a college like excelsior to do it.

As with everything it costs money and takes time. I advise doing it sooner

You need 66 credits. I did Excelsior & paid the $400 I think it was. They take I think its 32 academy credits, fortunately the Auto Crime training gave me 3 more & Ill be able to qualify for LTs 96. It takes some time, not long but you have to get it done. Excelsiors staff was really good & they made things move along. Request a transcript from your original college, send it out to Excelsior directly. Once you receive Excelsiors combined transcript in the mail, I would hand deliver that ****. I called many times to confirm ETU got it & finally they decided to confirm. I wouldnt waste anymore time. Just get it done.

You can upload your educational documents into CPR. Takes like a day for them to verify and approve it.
