I heard the same. August 30 promo with a Sept bmocc. Unknown how many and not confirmed.

The notification for the last class didn't come down until 5 days before they started BMOC. They started BMOC up front for a couple weeks, got promoted, and then did another month or so in BMOC. I would think this next class has to be more than 10 though. Anyone?

There are currently zero Captains vacancies. The dept is at its authorized headcount for the rank. The terminal count is 15. (same number as last month)

 Yep, on Friday I was told no promotions to Captain. But things can change.

I thought the same thing, didnt believe there would be back to back classes. But thats what they told the current class at the academy yesterday. Theyre gonna promote 10 more during the week of thanksgiving and put them in with this current class and overlap them.  Saves the guest speakers that are scheduled for the rest of this class from having to come back again next month.

I also heard that there are going to be a lot of discretionary promotions in the upper ranks this month. It is Oneills last promotion and he wants to take care of his people. So if you think about it, 10 more captains to account for all the discretionary promotions makes sense
