With my list number I could be promoted by the end of this year. Hopefully I hold on to my picks. I cant believe Ill be going from top pick in my squad to bottom of the barrel. Starting all over again. Hope this Sgt thing is worth it. Lol. It always seemed like the Sgts that came to my command got to keep the weeks they picked as cops.

picking in march for April is so true in many commands. as a newly promoted sergeant by the time you see the folder it's about that time. As for keeping picks, that depends on the command you goto and the agenda they push. Ive seen people keep picks before as long as it doesn't inconvenience the operations coordinator.

 If your picks dont fall on a week where three other sgts picked then youre fine. But theres no way your ops coord is gonna let you pick a week where four sgts are off.

I can see them putting 2 to 3 big classes in just to cover all openings and more, then slowing down a little. Lets wait and see. It should drop today. I hope it does lol

Hello. Don't know about the finest but the last names on the old list and the first 110 on your list were checked today. 110 does not necessarily indicate class size. No other info.

The name check process began Tuesday. Its just a matter of the finest dropping. Snow storm delayed the finest dropping yesterday. Bill has been correct thus far.

The name checks are multi-layered and compiled into a master spreadsheet by Performance Analysis which is then given to Uniform Promotions. That's the one that was done today.
