List in Number Order (Updated)

.295 minus one epd of .031 = .264

None of the seniority ranges end in .264

i know everyone is saying no way the list can go past 2000 BUT this is how i got it broken down by a few bosses

500 sgts short in the department because each squad suppose to have 2 sgts, they are changing it to 1 sgt for every 6 cops not 8 anymore with this nco program. all commands have to jump on board this year

500-600 sgts hit 25 years in the summer and im pretty sure once the new contract comes out they will dip

BODY camera's for anyone whos over 20 years lets be real whos gonna stick around for body cameras; i have 9 sgts in my command over 20 years and they all said the same thing... once body camera;s hit our command they r all going to the pension section.

THE DEPARTMENT IS CHANGING EVERYDAY ANYONE WHO THINKS THEY WONT GO THROUGH  A LST THIS BIG... ASK YOUR SGTS WHO HAVE 15 YEARS AT RANK... THEY HAD A LIST 2100 PEOPLE AND THEY ALL WERE MADE, THATS ACCORDING TO MY FIO SGT... HE SAID HIS CLASS WAS HUGE HIS LIST WAS HUGE AND THEY ALL GOT MADE.

Lets just **** off with the rumors, im sure the department will address this huge list t some point since it seems to be making alot ofbuzz. my whole post is hear say from other people but its just annoying no one knows for sure and we all spew other peoples words. im in the 20000's and thought i failed. it nice to know i passed but if i dont get made.......thats the way she goes and ill study next test. everyone buck up we still have jobs lol

Its a miracle I passed this test with as high of score as I did considering that I stopped reading PG after 212. Them postponing this exam really negatively impacted my prep so Ill take whatever happens.

From what I hear, the original number of passers was around 1150.  After changes to questions, it added 200 - 300 more names on the list.  This list however, had a lot more of the same gender and demographic than any other and the list was then curved to change that.  I will let you all read between the lines on this one.

The dept is not 500 Sgts short. Maybe 100 at best at the moment. Roughly 400-450 Will have 25 in August. One of the biggest classes nypd put in. Maybe THEN the dept will be short, unless they are doing the "magic 27".

1:6 ratio is already there on PAPER as ler FY2018 allowance. But that's not counting Sgts in DB/units, 1pp, IAB, etc.

With the addition of the 4 POs just added to BMOC, the Dept has 9 vacancies in the rank of Sgt. This is straight from the Personnel Bureau.  Where is the info about 100+ vacancies coming from??

Speculators. Unofficially the most 100. There are a bunch on terminal leave, plus just open spots that are unofficially left out of Sgts(precinct shuffle, hidden away). 100 was my highest number for actual reality.

Yup and just like I stated. The MC score is not a whole Number, and my seniority and medals were added correctly.

Its the same scores once all points like senority and medals are added. He talking about the initial raw score is not a whole number for example instead of it being a 80 its a 80.789

They don't let us keep our answer keys and they don't publish an official answer key. Is there ever a way to know for sure if extra points were added?

No the score is the same.  What's different is the MC has decimals.  It shouldn't have decimals. It should be a whole  number. For example it should read 82.00 not 82.009. What is the decimal score for you guys.  I want to see if its the same.  Mine appears to be an extra .009 points.

Like i posted on the other thread,  this is not true.  My partner got a 65 at the protest.  He did not pass this test and is not on the list.

Your partner lied or some else. Cuz I saw his dcas paper. Got 66 originally. Ended up with 75.392. Then 82.... with seniority

I'd imagine at this point it's confirmed that some sort of scoring formula was used. Whether it be a weighted average, or a percentage of the highest score. Everyone's MC scores end in different decimals. Very interesting

I know of 2 guys who said they got a 68 at the protest session but still failed because they didnt pick up any points. Thats what makes me think it wasnt curved.

I went to the protest session and protested 6 questions on the basis of wording. Original score was 66 and I ended up with 78. Majority of people that were there left as soon as they found out their scores with only three of us choosing to take the time and write up our protests. I do wish they would release questions as well as answers because some of them I couldnt believe that I chose obviously wrong answer.

 Yup 100%

easy to way figure it out is ask to see their DCAS letter..

everyone knows the RAW score is Inflated. So see what their Inflated DCAS Failed score says.

NO ONE who got a 69-61 FAILED. Throws outs and Bonus Points were given to reach the 70 mark.

EVERYONE magically caught 7-13 points but dudes couldnt catch 3 points ? Cmon now..

and a perp is in a stolen car with a gun and has no idea how the gun got there.. and its his cousins car

His seniority wouldn't be added to his score if he failed.  He told you he got a 62.  Was probably embarrassed and in reality probably got somewhere in the 50s.  It sucks to hear I know. My partner did the same thing.  This test exposed a lot of people who clamed that they only failed by a little.

You're not getting it. The 62 is what he got after the curve and throwouts. His seniority would only be counted if he passed the test. If he were to get a 68 after the curve, his seniority points would not have pulled him over thr finish line. Feel free to verify that with whoever you want.

I dont think they add senority or medals if you get below a 70 (failing) so its a plain old 62 if thats what he really got.

If he got a 62 at protest and didn't pick up points, he has the worst luck ever.

Can't add seniority unless you get a 70. This cannot be disputed.  There is no way around this.  To confirm this fact just take a look at our NOE for the exam.  It says it right on it.  I'm not saying he didnt get a 62 but if he got a 62 he didnt get any seniority points added in. So if he told you he got 65 overall he's lying.

He probably only picked up 3 points for throw outs. He wasn't lucky is what it boils down to.

We should update this list with people that have left the job and POs who took this exam as a back up and are already sergeants. It would definetly help us gauge closer the actual numbers. We may be able eliminate atleast 100 names or more as time progresses. What does everyone think ?

We just gotta be mindful that if you run a name and it doesn't show up the cop could possibly be a UC. So we can't really assume that people left the job unless we know it for certain or we get the personnel order/ finest message.
