Yanosik 7 hour targeted review

Hey all, in the final stretch and trying to cram. How many of you have a experience with Yanosik's cram packet?. He has very specific procedures in it, and I was wondering if anyone had any insight into how accurate its been in predicting what will be on the exam. There is little time left and I'm trying to make what is left have maximum impact.

At this point (after successfully passing two exams), you know that the test writes keep going to the same dozen or so procedures time after time. However, the rest is a crap shoot. Neither Mike Yanosik nor anyone else who was not involved in writing questions knows where the questions will come from. It will all depend on how straightforward or tricky the test writers wanted to make it.
Personally, I did not put in the time and the effort necessary to feel confident, but I will give it a shot.

I wish everyone good luck.

I find myself with a similar sentiment, far too much going on in my life to have dedicated the time that is necessary to pass, it's frustrating because I've only needed to take the previous exams just once. Personally I still have doubts if being a captain would really be a benefit to me to begin with, I'm in an investigative assignment making 40 a month with a flexible schedule. But still I've never failed to do something I set my mind too on this job. On the flip side I think I'd rather be a lieutenant with the money (hopefully one day) than a Captain.

All I know is that elites practice exams are mostly garbage.  He recycled Sgt and LT questions and sprinkled a few captain questions.  Should be the other way around.  I wouldnt waste any more time completing those.  Itll prepare you to pass an exam you already did.

bigfoot.... I cannot agree more,,, elite questions are garbage,,,, way too easy.... and furthermore, he uses the same questions for all of his questions with captains class material adding in couple capt. questions....  I don't recommend anyone to pay money for

his ****ty material with elementary level questions that you can answer correctly not even reading the procedures.  stick with either rising star or key material if you have them.  don't waste time on elite BS.

All the promotional schools failed their Captain students this time around, there was more money to be made of the Lts exam; as a result the captains courses were all generally for ****.

I heard the golden ticket packets were the way to go for this exam.    Anyone else hear the same?

For the LT exam mike's 7hr cram was on point. If the exam is going to be fair and valid they will go to the main captain procedures. Dont listen to the 100 haters buddy..looks like they are at it again. Smdh.

They failed us but putting together half assed Captains courses that were crammed into 3 months rather than the necessary 6, this was done because we were competing with the Lts course which is a far greater money maker.

When you say "on point", does that mean whatever  Mike had on the 7hr cram was on the exam?

Golden Ticket was a great supplement, definitely helped me get a little bit of an edge.
