As many of us find out our 2017 Lt exam fate in the upcoming days lets us not forget to thank the men who helped make it happen....THE 9 HEROES! Over a year ago, 9 brave brothers in blue put their careers and reputations on the line to fight back against Capt.Insano's 2015 Lt exam. Despite all the odds, which included the make-up exam scammers who barely passed the 2008,2009 or 2011 Sgt exam yet ended up scoring in the 100s/90s/80s on the most difficult exam in Department history as well as the misguided haters who wanted the job to started promoting off the list which would have effectively kept the list from being expanded to include an additional 200 Sgts (all who are now eligible to take the upcoming Capt exam), you 9 brave men succeeded. Your efforts led to a number of reforms that have positively impacted the Department. The number of make-up exam scammers have drastically reduced, exam writers are more carefully selected, and overall confidence and morale has been restored among the rank and file. As the years pass by many will forget about the brave actions of these 9 men but hundreds of your brothers and sisters will not. You guys will forever be known as THE 9 HEROES! Oh behalf of all the future Sgt, Lts, and Capts...thank you for your service!

I agree the whispers thing was strange but it did lead to more IAB personnel at testing location which in turn has made people think twice about trying to cheat...another positive reform in my book. Paul Benedict...lol...you still cant bring yourself to call them the 9 heroes...too funny. All jokes aside...we all know you were one of the original/honest passers of the 2015 Lt exam. Lt. you passed, in my opinion, the hardest exam in Dept history and for that I salute you. Good luck on upcoming Capt exam boss.
Thanks to THE 9 HEROES for now creating the biggest list in history and making the sergeants wait until 2021 for another exam.
Ahhh I think you have been taking too much creatine or maybe you are one of the 100 haters from the 2015 Lt exam. This exam simply balances out the low numbers from the 2011 and 2015 exam. I think most agree that a fair Lt exam would have 700 or so passers. The 2011 had 600plus and the 2015 exam had 300plus. So you take away 400 or so passer from the 2017 exam and it balances itself out bro...stay away from the creatine lol.

Lol and trolls are coming out of the woodwork. Check the 2015 Lt exam thread...im the one who coined the phase "9 heroes." Ive been in support of these guys since day one even after I bombed the 2015 exam so please check your facts. Clearly caralho is one of the 100 haters...stick to the Capt forum buddy.
Blatt changed the exam process, end of story. Scammers gone and fair tests given now...
100% and a humble guy, met him at a detail after he got promoted.
Never met him personally but I was at the promotion ceremony at 1pp when the entire audience erupted into applause when they called his name. I'm not surprised he is a humble guy. All of the great American leaders are...was it not Teddy Roosevelt who once said "walk softly and carry a big stick!" Thank you for your service Lt...hope you rock this Capt exam!
