But lately there has been alot of fake news spreading in the forum... First, as of 10/4 there are 29 Lt vacancies and 42 Sgt vacancies so 63asop you are wrong! Secondly, while the number of vacancies do play a part in the jobs decision to put in a class there are also other factors at play so you cant rely just on vacancy numbers.

Can't speak for 10/4, but what I posted is clear as day for 10/2. I also made a point to mention vacancies are a mere guide and not to put too much stock in it.
Special Assignment PO's are most likely the ones that they take from the academy prior to completions and place them in case sensitive confidential investigations... They do this because they don't want them to act like cops; cop jargon, behaviors, etc. Make sense to me....

Just saying...
Cool story, youre 100% wrong though. Glad you felt it necessary to make up a Bunch of BS because youre just saying. PO Special Assignment was a promotion that was given to umos in nyc hapd. When the merge happened in 1994, the rank got carried over To PD.

POSA's in the NYPD lost the rank when the PBA complained about it, but those who were given the title in Transit or Housing kept it post-merge. I think there's only one or two left active on the job.
What was the reason for the two scammers to take it two months later, worth dropping a IAB log to investigate it, Im sure theres texts etc trying to get answers. Its worth holding them up for a while.
Fake News. The test was fair but hard. Nothing like the pervious two tests which were mind blowing. I think people are under estimating the toughness of the questions that were given. The correct answers came down to the better of two choices. Don't think that many people passed. I can see it being in the high 800 range; another test in three years. As DRPapi states, "the end is near". Hopefully people are truthful about their scores starting this Friday..

My guess is a lot of people will say they got a 69.
I will learn my fate in 68hrs... 10/27 @ 830am....either way its been one hell of a ride. They basically announced the exam a year ago...we all gave one year of our lives to this exam...thats the onlt sad part about it.

Lmao,..Easy killah,....yep thats true,..thats the sad part ,..itll be over soon!
I don't think scores really matter much unless your up on the top and or the middle of the bunch... It's going to be the list against attrition of the job... How many Lieutenants will retire vs how many they promote in a year over the life of the 4 year list.... You tell me why not think about the odds.... I was on the 2006 and was effected by this... FACT!!!!!
2006 Exam all over again..... Everyone will not be promoted.... Start taking that in now......
The 2006 exam I think people didn't make the list due to the economy when the market crashed in 08-09.... The department stop hiring new cops and I think they didn't do many promotion during that time. Now they're pushing a new academy class every 3-4 months, as long as the economy doesn't crash everyone will get promoted on the list.
I got 2 CIs I signed up a couple weeks back working on getting me some info on the total numbers of passers. Stand by for further intel. My sources will be JD Decaz and JD Examen.
1050....is the number I was told today from a Sgt. who is very good friends with a higher up in personnel at 1PP....which in my opinion is believable, but a little more than I really expected.
Since I walked out the exam Ive been saying the list will be over 1,000 and the list will be cut. Anyone who really analyzed the exam while they were taking it could tell you that. Not because it was easy but many questions came down to two choices. Its the law of probability folks.
