Ok I did a little research on the DCAS site. The "eAdmission" notice is for people that might have either misplaced the mailed one or it simple got lost in the mail.

I know a guy from the last sgt test, he took the train, and showed up with his NYPD ID and not his driver's license. DCAS almost didnt let him take the test because they wouldn't accept his NYPD ID. The supervisors had to get involved and finally allowed it. As I said, you never know with DCAS.
