Maybe your friend wasn't paying attention, this rumor is coming from many different sources, when that many people are hearing the same news it should be very possible, who know time will tell

Rumors confirmed by Lt. Ng in BMOC. 90 going in May 15, then they will be overlapping with another group a few weeks later ( not sure on the date) and then another to finish the list by the time for the lieutenant test on August 16. You can sign up for that exam at BMOC and they will forward the application. Start getting your suits!! Congrats!
