Promotions for the moth of April are schedule (if the happen) for Thursday, April 27, 2017 or Friday, April 28, 2017. If we count the time spent in BMOC we can go in anywhere from 3/27 to 4/7 to fit into these dates. Hopefully that is the case and it is not another down month. Although it does not make it a "must happen" they usually have promotions in April.

Any thoughts on whether or not the new recruits graduating from the academy could increase the number of sergeants needed

They are making more precincts in Queens into community police precincts which will add more cops and bosses but I don't think large classes have had any effect on supervisors before.

In a good position to know. like with everything in life things are always subject to change. If April does happen which as of now it looks like it is, it should be on that day, and around that number of people. We will have to wait and see the final numbers. It didn't sound like the size of the class was as definite as the date of it. Again this is an unconfirmed rumor but in comparison to the "No class" unconfirmed rumor I got last month I'll take this one. Lol.

I was told, that there was a possibility that I'll be going to BMOC on 4/3 and I'm going to believe it.

Lol. This unicorn has not been incorrect once since the list has been activated. I think that the disappointment will possibly be the size of the class. Lets just wait and see.

As per a headless horseman, those hoping to get promoted to detective before getting promoted to sergeant will encounter a possible issue. Not all eligible detectives will be getting promoted on 3/31. Some will have to wait until 4/28.

Sorry if i sounded misleading. I Don't know anything about a May BMOC yet. My comment was in references to getting promoted on the 3/31 and then on 4/28. As far as 70 for 4/3, hopefully thats the case. The exact number that I received was way lower but it was also followed by this number can change.
