so the test yesterday was my FIRST ever sgts exam. idk if it was hard but it was fair but who am I to say cuz I NEVER took one before. I spent All day looking up answers saying yes I got it right and omg F I got that wrong!! ppl at my cmd were throwing around answers and I jus was like omg did I mess up. My magic number is 30. 30 questions wrong=70 a pass. at this point I'm like idc how long it takes to get promoted I just wanna pass. Ill be going to that protest session not only cu I don't feel like waiting SIX MONTHS to find out my score but there were a few questions I didn't agree with. Anyone who feels the same or has any insight on this list or anything please feel free to chime in. I saw something about a post saying ppl who failed still got promoted.....how does that work and will they even BOTHER to do that on this one.
These tests used to be graded on a curve, with the cutoff being the lowest score with the highest hook. That ended in 03, so no if you fail you don't get promoted.
ha I knew it ......gues because of all the stuff that happened beforehand. Well guess ill go to the protest session and keep my fingers crossed while my heart pounds out of my chest
The majority of the questions that were asked in the exam were not put together in the same way as practice questions from the class. I felt as if the questions were all over including the answer choices.

The more I think about this exam, the more I believe it was very tricky, not to mention that panic-inducing inbasket. I think at this point all of us just want a minimum of a 70. The fact that we couldn't write down what answers we had and compare them to each other, being forced to wait 5 weeks, is probably adding to the stress.

Well, be ready to quote the patrol guide in response to a question you feel is incorrectly worded that would have netted an equal answer or a better answer. Showing up to check your answers only isn't going to get any throw outs.
30 Days to mail in your protest slip then 4 weeks After That notices for the protest date/time/location will be given.
1 week from test date to mail in the protest slip if you want to attend the computer session.
2 months - ish before anyone will actually know their approximate Minimum Raw Score.
GL to everyone

Hello everyone, I am a 3rd generation police officer and also a 6th generation C list celebrity psychic as well as a statistician laguardia community college graduate. The list after the throw outs will increase to 16 percent passing rate and 1,700 people pass. Then also people are going to sue. You're going to have an increase of complainters and cry babies. the protest session will be just like you guys most said the test was like "it was fair and straight forward". I passed. I know this
Look at all the test questions from 205.... those are the ones that have conflicted and will raise lots of issues. Then a few conflicting 212 with 221.... expect a few hundred to pass including a few cops that are going to be like the antichrist of the sergeants. Some who had no business taking the exam and took it sadly have passed this exam and will now pass with all the throw outs. Believe in me when I tell you that this exam will have a lot of people passing with less than 5 years on the job. A bunch will have less than 3 and a lot of skip overs.
I'm a 6th generation celebrity psychic as well as a 3rd generation police officer. If you're interested in a psychic reading that is actually deemed accurate and backed up by schismatic scientific evidence then contact me. I will be at the protest session on the 7th. I already know I passed. I took the Key and didn't take blue line leaders because I had a permission that it was not good material.
