Now while I'm not happy that it's been down month after down month, I wouldn't say I'm anxious to leave where I'm at either. I've been in a detail since November and am now used to getting 35 hours a month just showing up to work Trying to get as many house renovations out of the way before I take this pay cut. But yeah this is getting ridiculous

If Lt. Ng says theres no class at this time of the month, then its a safe bet(sorry). He's usually the first to know... so that they can adjust their bmoc schedule. He was a good source of info when I was in bmoc. Keep your heads up guys.....your time will come.

The freeze on LTs has jammed everything up. Right now there is a dire shortage of LTs while also creating a surplus of SGTs. SGTs that should have been promoted to LT are still occupying SGT slots creating an overage. Once the freeze is resolved you will see movement shortly after.

if you aren't within 100 to 150 names of getting made, this doesn't affect you really...the next few class sizes after this Lt debacle is resolved will reflect the new need for sgts and we'll be back to normal after a few months. next few sgts classes after the debacle is over will be bigger then normal

so at a 1 & 8 ratio at 1400 is a need for about 175 sgts and at 1200 it would be a need for about 150..all of that depends on if the job is down sgts at the moment which i have absolutly no idea..it would seem like we should be prepared for the next bmoc to be a somewhat sizeable class but like most ive come to terms with getting my hopes set too high and prepare for the worst.

For the past few months there have been so many of you who were trying hard to give the best prediction about next BMOC class, some of you were even more positive then the others (Wingnut....... and his team), but only few remained realistic about the job, how unpredicted and ruthless it is. So no matter what you think, this will not expedite hiring process or twist things around in order to get things expedited.
I suspect that You guys are doing it on purpose and making me coming back to read all your senseless posts to waist my VALUBLE time.

OMG. I'm glad I brought this forum back to life.
The only thing I don't understand why soccerpsyco32 is still coming back to this forum while being a Sgt. Isn't it because he doesn't get enough attention at his PCT and wants to practice his street lawyer skills to be ready to attack/defend anyone who under his poor judgement was unnecessarily offended? So apparently DCAS needs 4-6 weeks to establish the new LT list and the PC said he would start promotions right away....so expect nice heavy classes within the next month or two...our time has finally come(insert your favorite war theme here) lol

It doesnt mean anything. DCAS just gives the test and guves the job the list. The job does whatever the hell it does and at some point it notifies people for BMOC. I know its stressful but theres no way to know whats gonna happen next unless you got a crystal ball. Dont make yourself crazy reading too much into stuff.
