I dont... as for educational and tracking I don't have that info....the number received by fit unit was what others have stated on here...and obv johnny info of a class is 100 percent legit....but it's on dcas to get us the list which has not happened yet. But again it was requested for mid january..doesn't mean it will be released by then however

1/27 is release. The original passers was 128, 1st makeup 63, 17 on the latest one in December. I know this for fact because it is civil service law to give our job raw scantron passers of exam and I know someone who deals w this. As far as size of throw outs I got nothing. But that's why I was saying the disgrace of these makeup guys this go around. A large number opted to do this this time, more than usual. 80 passed on a makeup when 128 passed original. That's why we got 208 to start w before throw outs or changes. Let's just hope for a decent sized list all we can do.

Ondeair is 100 percent right on this... as for dcas and the list...the number of 0rotests was unprecedented and is a reason this list is still in their hands..I was told original list was around 125 so 128 sounds to be it

What does this 125 number pertain to? Is it 1/25 list release date? If it's the actual number ON the list I will be in my garage with the car running and the windows down.

Just so we understand. The FIT Unit received the original list with around 125 passers, but there is still no info on anyone that may have picked up points and were added on to the original list. Correct?

They do not get a list of how u did....just a list of ppl who passed. It's the sgt who deals w this process and unfortunately I can not get that info...just told it was extremely small

The logical time that this list would be released is January...so someone said "Ok has to be by the end of January and lists come out Wed/Thurs, so must be January 27th"......I know nothing and could have came up with that one....

i posted the job had the list about a month ago...i was not wrong in the sense that the fit unit did get a rough draft list last month. I cant confirm when the list is being released...but i know for fact the job requested it mid january so a class can go in. Whats going to happen? i dont know...but its a strong possibility that list will be sent to personnel by mid january. It will def not be released till prob end of month. Clearing of names will take place week of 20th like johnny said. Now can dcas hold on to the list further...yes....but the job did request it by then and im guessing that dcas is likely to comply

This extremely small list that you were told of, is it referring to the original list prior to changes OR the updated finalized list that the department got a month ago?

guys the info you seek i just dont have......i dont have a final list size! i am not holding anything back. As far as my info this morning...it cofirms two things....what ondeair said about 128 original passers. More importantly personnel requested the list for mid jan for a class the end of this month....im not a genius or a inside guy here, this info was posted previously. I can 100 percent say without any doubt that it is true and i believe there will be a january 28 promotion for lts. If that is true....then list will be out by then. I do not take any credit for any information bc this has been very fustrating...im just trying to sort it out the best i can. Every single piece of info i have received over past week...is SMALL list. I believe we will seee 5 changes overall...im sorry but i dont have anything else and i trully believe by now later then the 27th..you will have your answers! So thank ppl like johnny big time bc they are the ones who have been providing the most usefull info on here and ill keep trying my best to get anything else.

300 seems about right for 5 changes. Remember not all of the changes will be throwouts. There will be some double/triples probably, which would decrease chances of picking up that point.

sgt2be is directly on point. no one knows the final list numbers----and rumors are rumors. hence why im not posting them anymore. I had PM s to fight me when guys were coming to 1pp so sorry im not posting rumors. however---the concrete numbers were 2601 sat for the exam---with 128 passing on the raw exam. a total of 120 makeup test takers sat for exam----with 80 making a score of 70 or better. these are facts---I know the guy who deals with this directly and he thought it was absolutely crazy this occurred. not the makeup people---but the overall passers. it is the lowest percentage of passers ever on an NYPD promotional exam. the funny part was my friend was trying to calculate the amount of money this capt cost everyone---its insane. so, take it for what its worth---the people who passed deserved it and the makeup people really got over on this one. our fate in that 65+ range will be known soon----and if we don't pass those who have the time take the next one. I ll be done---but I hope the rest of you who don't make it pass the next one.

Most people posting regularly either passed outright or they're in the 65+ range. So, reading this forum leaves one with the impression there are an enormous amount of people on the cusp. But, think about it . . . In each of the aforementioned groups, there may be a couple dozen regular posters tops. The same is true when I deal with people face-to-face. I only talk about the exam with passers and border dwellers because nobody else gives a crap! Why would they? When I stop and think about it, it's only a handful of people.

Obviously there are many more people out there who don't even read this forum much less post on it. There are even a few weirdos out there who passed or on the border but do not discuss the test or their score in conversation. Still, I suspect the total numbers on the border aren't as high as many believe.

DOA---fair analysis. I think that there needs to be around 10 changes to have a list of 400-500 range. anything below that this is in 300s with an exam in early 2017. the makeups really killed the rest of us with their substantial number of passers. these are assumptions on size and date for next exam.

but, with the sgt exam now slotted for late 2016 they might wanna wait till late 2017 for next exam---gives them more test takers---they always like to do that. either way---ur talking about A LOT of young sgts sitting for the next one if this list is small. this new tier 3 pension will have them all sitting for this no doubt about it.

Yeah 10 changes can still be possible. There was good arguments made in regards. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best everyone. It's all we can do at this time.

DOA, Ondeeair, EDP are all right.... 5 changes will prob only add 100 ppl at most..... And none of us that gave our very best is looking forward to sit down for another possible nightmare like this, not in 2016,17 or 18! Many of us would still sit down for it, but it will be a tough thing to do!!

Changes to come for the make up exam? A little too late for that. How about changes to the exams themselves? I'm hating on the scammers, but good for them for screwing up the system on an exam that should had never seen the light of day...

And now, after all the suffering, I say let keep our head up and await our death with dignity and composure. As EDP says, let's prepare for the worse and if a miracle happens, we celebrate then....but for now we are all just FUC&, live with it. Dismissed.
